'TSMC does not protect Taiwan from China'

Western governments lure the world's leading semiconductor manufacturer TSMC out of Taiwan by offering large subsidies. In this interview, Taiwanese economist Kristy Hsu explains why it makes sense for the local semiconductor industry to diversify.
