Global Gateway: The EU is courting the Indo-Pacific – and falling behind in Southeast Asia

The EU wants to strengthen ties with Indo-Pacific states with a forum in Brussels. However, according to a recent study, the flagship Global Gateway initiative is hardly having any effect in the key region of South East Asia.
