Foreign policy: Why the EU remains cautious despite partial lifting of Chinese sanctions

The end of sanctions against European parliamentarians will not lead to decisive improvements between the EU and China in the short term. Criticism has been directed at the continued restrictions against former MEPs and actors such as MERICS – and the lack of transparency on the part of the EU Parliament's leadership.
