First offshore carbon storage facility goes online

While countries like Germany have been debating the pros and cons of carbon storage for years, the technology has long been seen as part of the solution in China's fight against climate change. For the first time, state-owned energy companies have now constructed an offshore storage facility in the South China Sea.
