Foreign policy: Why there will be no end to the unanimity requirement for the time being

Commission President Ursula von der Leyen would like to reach majority decisions on foreign policy in coordination with Berlin. The timing for introducing a change of this kind following Orbán’s defeat seems opportune. However, smaller member states are putting the brakes on.
