Methane: Hungary wants to postpone regulation by two years

LNG imports would benefit from the proposals.

The government in Budapest has argued in Brussels for a more far-reaching weakening of methane regulation than previously thought. Hungary is particularly eager to accommodate the needs of LNG importers.
