Table.Regulations: How Beijing pitches its AI governance to the world

On the fringes of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), China presented an action plan for globally coordinated AI governance.

The Global AI Governance Action Plan identifies 13 key areas for coordinated international action. With this plan, China aims to mandate the participation of various interest groups and position itself as an alternative to US dominance.
