Alliance against Israel: Why the road to a NATO of the Middle East is long

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) wants to strengthen its military cooperation – partly out of disappointment with the USA. But apart from harsh rhetoric, the Arab-Islamic summit in Doha has nothing to counter the Israeli invasion of Gaza City.
