Russia: Navy escorts shadow fleet tankers in the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea

From now on, the Russian Navy will protect the oil and gas tanker fleet in the Baltic and Black Seas. This is Moscow’s response to attacks by Ukrainian forces and European seizures. Meanwhile, revenue from the oil trade is becoming increasingly important to the Kremlin.
