The permanent EU Council President Charles Michel does not want to run for the European Parliament after all. He apparently does not have the support of his party. Michel wants to complete his term of office by November.

Regulation 883: Parliament curbs Belgium's search for a compromise

This also concerns proof of social insurance for employees working abroad in the EU (A1 certificate).
