Euro 7 emissions standard: trilogue can begin

The European Parliament has voted on the position of the Environment Committee on the Euro 7 emissions standard. The compromise, supported by the EPP, Renew, and ECR, received a majority. The trilogue can now begin.

Clean Air Directive: Poorer member states want postponement

With regard to the Clean Air Directive, member states whose economic performance is below the EU average want the new limit values to come into force up to ten years later. This is one of the demands of the common position of the Member States agreed by the EU ambassadors. The trilogue begins next week.

Clean Air Directive: Germany abstains
