Legal Affairs Committee: Immunity of Petr Bystron lifted.

The public prosecutor's office wants to investigate AfD MEP Petr Bystron for a post on X. The European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs has therefore decided to waive his immunity. The plenary still has to confirm the decision.

Taiwan: Armed forces react to Chinese military drills.

In response to Chinese military drills, Taiwan has deployed fighter jets and naval vessels. In addition, missile defense systems were activated on the Taiwanese coast. The government in Taipei described China as a "troublemaker".
