Electricity grids: Proposals for a socially just energy transition.

An analysis by the think tank Zukunft KlimaSozial, which is exclusively available to Table.Briefings, proposes a stronger role for the federal government in grid expansion and progressive tax revenue to finance it. Poorer households could be relieved in this way. Measured against their income, they have so far made the largest contribution to the energy transition.

Exploratory paper: CDU and SPD leave these gaps in climate policy.

As in the election campaign, the exploratory talks do not devote any separate capital to climate action. Although measures to achieve the climate targets are noted in the "Economy" topic area, the goal of climate neutrality by 2045 and a uniform strategy for achieving the target are missing. Environmental associations rate the plans as inadequate.
