eDeclaration: Commission proposes simplifications for posting

According to the European Timber and Construction Workers' Union, construction workers account for around 40 percent of posted workers in the EU. The eDeclaration is intended to harmonize the posting of workers. (IMAGO / Markus Matzel)
The EU Commission has presented its proposal for the introduction of the eDeclaration. BDA Managing Director Kampeter speaks of a "significant" step towards reducing bureaucracy.
Movement on eDeclaration: On Wednesday, the Commission presented a proposal for a regulation for a digital, standardized declaration portal for companies with mobile employees. This is intended to reduce bureaucracy and costs for companies that post their employees across borders in the EU.
