Parliament approves new EU debt rules

A majority from the center-right to the center-left voted in favor of reforming the EU debt rules on Tuesday. The member states must submit their new financial plans by September.

DSA: Commission issues ultimatum to TikTok

The EU Commission threatens TikTok operator ByteDance with the forced shutdown of features of its "TikTok Lite" app. After the operating company failed to comply with a request for information, a corresponding order could follow as early as Thursday.
