Pollution-free environment: where the EU stands on its targets

A monitoring report shows which targets of the European Commission's action plan "Zero Pollution of Air, Water and Soil" are unlikely to be achieved. This could affect more than half of the EU targets for these areas by 2030. To remedy the situation, EU Environment Commissioner Jessika Roswall wants to take greater account of the targets in legislation.
