Scholz and Le Maire want to push ahead with capital markets union

In Berlin, the German Chancellor and the French Minister of the Economy spoke out in favor of rapid progress on the Capital Markets Union. Le Maire advocated centralized capital market supervision, which Finance Minister Lindner has so far resisted.
