Middle East: Von der Leyen responds to criticism from her officials

Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has sent a message to all Commission staff and officials about the violence in Israel and Gaza. In it, she does not mention the statement of more than 800 Commission staff members by name with strong criticism, but declares her willingness to engage in dialogue.
