Jozef Síkela – EU Commissioner for Global Gateway

Ursula von der Leyen has assigned the previous lightweight dossier of international partnerships to the Czech Minister for Industry and Trade. Prague is only partially satisfied with von der Leyen's decision. However, the designated Commissioner sees things differently. Above all, he is now to give the BRI competition Global Gateway more momentum.
