Macron sends fatal signal to Taiwan

Emmanuel Macron complied with Xi Jinping's request and announced that Europe would "follow neither the US nor China" on Taiwan, which the state media celebrated. At the same time, the People's Liberation Army followed up with a fierce maneuver: It practiced encircling Taiwan and engaging targets on the island.
