Joint Research Center: What does the Commission's think tank do?

Little is known of the Joint Research Center's work. Yet the JRC spends almost half a billion annually on research and evidence-based policy advice. A strategic realignment is intended to create more awareness and influence. Research Commissioner Mariya Gabriel has now visited the institution.
