Agreement on battery regulation: What will now change

The Commission, Parliament and Council finished their negotiations on the new battery regulation on Friday. It defines specific collection and recycling targets as well as due diligence obligations – and aims to make batteries the first product in the EU to be subject to a binding carbon footprint.
