WTO round fails to agree on reforms

Despite an extension, World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiators have not succeeded in agreeing on reforms. There was no breakthrough in the areas of fisheries and agriculture. India is said to have been the brakeman.

Umwelthilfe refuses transparency on major donations from 2021

Umwelthilfe received around €5 million from donations and gifts in 2021. The organization refuses to be transparent about 15 of 17 major donations, although it was required to do so according to the rules of the lobby register in the Bundestag. These are donations from natural and legal persons with a total volume of €1.5 million.
