Spain: Commission criticizes amnesty law.

The amnesty law is said to have helped secure Pedro Sánchez’s reappointment in 2023 – at least, that is the view expressed in an opinion from the European Commission to the European Court of Justice (ECJ), which was leaked to Spanish media.

Industrial policy: Jeroen Dijsselbloem pitches Eindhoven as a model for the EU

The former Eurogroup president and current mayor of Eindhoven is calling for European industrial policy to be guided by local excellence clusters.
