EUDR: How the EPP maneuvered itself into a dead end

The EPP has failed in its attempt to achieve substantive changes to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Parliament and the Council agreed on a mere postponement of the rules. The Christian Democrats want to learn from this – and take a more tactical approach in similar cases in the future.
