Dax survey: Companies invest in carbon offsetting with questionable climate benefits

German companies want to be "climate neutral" by 2050 at the latest. However, in order to sell their climate targets or individual products as "climate neutral", the majority rely on carbon credits, which are unsuitable for offsetting fossil emissions. Yet there would be sensible solutions.
