Possible as early as 2050: German professional societies warn of three-degree warming

As global warming increases, so does the risk of heatwaves.

Global warming appears to be accelerating. The German Meteorological Society and the German Physical Society are calling on politicians to take more effective action against this "without delay". Extreme weather is also on the rise in Germany.
