Netherlands: What the new climate lawsuit against Shell is about

Shell should no longer be allowed to develop new oil and gas fields and be obliged to set itself emission targets: This is the demand of the Dutch environmental organization Milieudefensie in a new climate lawsuit. They claim that the exploitation of the deposits causes more than five billion tons of CO2 emissions.
