Fossil energy: How the COP troika expands oil and gas

The United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan and Brazil – hosts of the COPs in 2023, 2024 and 2025 – want to increase oil and gas production by more than 30 percent in total by 2035, according to a new report. The main culprits, however, are the industrialized countries.
