COP troika calls for more climate aid from industrialized countries

The tug-of-war over climate financing at COP29 has begun in earnest: The troika consisting of the UAE, Azerbaijan and Brazil is demanding more ambition and money from industrialized countries. The latter reject any obligation to do so under the Paris Agreement.
