Brazil: New climate plan combines forest conservation with rising energy emissions

For the first time since 2008, Brazil has updated its climate plan. It places a strong emphasis on combating deforestation. However, emissions from the energy sector are expected to continue rising. Experts praise the plan as comprehensive, but still insufficient.
