Climate club begins work and recruits new members

This Thursday, the task force of the "Climate Club" begins its work. This marks the project's official start, initiated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Its original aim was to unite climate pioneers with a CO2 price. Now, the goal is to promote the decarbonization of the global industry.

'CCS is not a substitute for phasing out fossil fuels'

German climate finance faces cuts

The financing of international climate action is a key topic of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue, which will take place next week in Berlin. Despite this, the German government is planning to reduce tax spending for climate aid in its current draft budget.
