UNFCCC: Secretariat’s mandate at risk due to funding gaps.

At the SB62 in Bonn, the Climate Secretariat is negotiating its budget for 2026/27. There are large gaps in the budget. The lack of money for the organization of conferences and UN operations leads to a dependence on voluntary donations from states, foundations and companies.
