Saudi Arabia: How green hydrogen from the desert is set to drive Germany’s energy transition

During a visit by German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Katherina Reiche, the oil-rich kingdom unveiled plans to export low-cost green hydrogen. The proposed “energy bridge” is intended to bring Germany and Saudi Arabia closer together economically, geopolitically, and on climate policy.
