Norway: Government experts call for oil and gas phase-out, the government refuses

An expert panel has recommended that the oil and gas country Norway should draw up a plan for phasing out its fossil fuel industries in order to achieve its planned climate neutrality by 2050. However, the government continues to focus on oil, gas and carbon storage.
