Maldives ambassador: 'We are creating new islands and aim to be CO2-neutral by 2030'

Rising sea levels pose an existential threat to the Maldives. The country's ambassador to the EU, Omar Abdul Razzak, is therefore calling for easier access to financing, especially for adaptation measures.
