The fossil fuel phase-out is being neglected amid the energy crisis, warns the Climate Action Tracker. The demand for natural gas alone will consume 10 percent of the carbon budget by 2050. Moreover, 96 percent of oil and gas companies have plans for new fossil fuel projects.
