Cheaper gasoline, more internal combustion engines: Coalition decisions face sharp criticism

In response to high energy prices, the German federal government is now reinstating the controversial fuel rebate and stepping up its support for internal combustion engines. This has drawn sharp criticism from the opposition and many industry groups.
