Against expert advice: Coalition removes binding sector targets from Climate Protection Act

Following Wissing's threat to ban driving, the Greens accept the removal of the binding sector targets from the Climate Protection Act. The Council of Experts had warned against this shortly beforehand. In return, the solar package is also adopted – but without the resilience bonus.
