Against EU plan: Bulgaria wants to delay coal phase-out

Sofia opposes EU climate policy and wants to reverse its coal phase-out plans. High electricity prices make electricity exports more attractive than aid from Brussels. Nevertheless, experts believe that the end of coal in Bulgaria is inevitable.
