Taiwan: Lai Ching-te reaffirms the right to international contacts

During his visit to Eswatini, Taiwan’s President Lai Ching-te is calling for the right to engage in international relations. Beijing is said to have previously attempted to block the trip. The African kingdom is one of Taiwan’s last remaining allies.
