Nexperia: China insists on end to Dutch control during talks with Katherina Reiche

China is urging the Netherlands to completely relinquish control of chip manufacturer Nexperia. Trade Minister Wang Wentao spoke to German Minister Reiche about this. Meanwhile, the German automotive industry association VDA sees an increased risk to the supply of Nexperia parts in the first quarter of 2026.
