Humanoid robots: Faster than the human world-record pace in the half marathon

This year’s Beijing half marathon showcased the rapid progress being made in humanoid robotics. The machine crossed the finish line in 50 minutes and 26 seconds, setting a new half-marathon world record. Just last year, the fastest robot still needed two hours and 40 minutes to complete the course.
