Cosco takeover: Greens criticize lack of transparency in investment review

Cosco’s acquisition of the Hamburg-based freight forwarding company Zippel is currently under intense scrutiny by Germany’s Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The Green Party has criticized the lack of transparency in communication, claiming that a great deal of information – such as details regarding the potential flow of sensitive data to China – is being kept under wraps.
