Customs reform: Brussels targets China’s online shopping boom

Around 91% of all small shipments under EUR 150 originate in China. On Thursday, EU finance ministers plan to agree on a common position on customs reform. In addition to abolishing the “de minimis” threshold, they are also in favor of introducing a processing fee for parcel shipments.
