'China no longer has spiritual power'

Together with sinologist Daniel Leese, journalist Shi Ming has published the essay collection "Chinesisches Denken der Gegenwart" (Contemporary Chinese Thought), where key texts by Chinese intellectuals have been translated into German for the first time. Fabian Peltsch spoke with Shi Ming about today's struggles of China's intellectual elite and the values vacuum in society.
