Maritime rescue: Lawmakers call for no support from the German armed forces for the Libyan coast guard

In a position paper, more than 100 lawmakers from the SPD, the Left Party and the Greens called on the federal government to support maritime rescue operations in the Mediterranean. They also urged the government to draw a clearer line against the controversial Libyan coast guard.
