TAFF conference: Focus on concrete solutions

In April, the first conference on phasing out fossil fuels will be held in Santa Marta on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. The focus will be on practical implementation rather than further negotiations. Between 40 and 80 countries are expected to take part.

The Declaration has been endorsed by 24 countries, while more than 80 oppose including such language, underscoring deep divisions among negotiators.
