Emissions trading: Nearly $80 billion in global revenue

Globally, emissions trading systems (ETS) cover 26% of CO₂ emissions. Sixteen governments are developing or considering the introduction of an ETS. However, many of these systems still do not rely on a fixed CO₂ cap.
