KRITIS Umbrella Act: Compromise in governing coalition creates new legal uncertainty for infrastructure operators

After drawn-out negotiations, the KRITIS Umbrella Act is finally set to be passed. German states will be given more flexibility in defining what critical infrastructure is. But it also raises fresh questions and transparency obligations need to be adapted.
